The Pigeons' Rule

I am adding Mondays to the updating schedule, which means that, as from now, updates will be posted three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) instead of two.

“Breaking-in” time is coming to an end at last, and things are rolling quite smoothly now. The comic is evolving all the time, and I have no idea how it will look like in a month’s time, until it finally settles into a more stable (but never final!) shape. I’ll try to comment on changes in design, character personality and so on as they happen. Anyway, I’m having great fun in the process. I have given the site near zero publicity up to now, so as to practice in obscurity while I gave some definition to the new strip. Really it’s only a bunch of you that even know of the existence of “The Pigeons’ Rule”. You can consider yourself an early TPR adopter, a pathfinder, a pioneer, a trailblazer even!

I think the fruit is almost ripe now though, so it won’t be long before I do something to try and attract people to the site. I hope you are enjoying the ride as much as I am.

Hi there. This is the first post for the online strip The Pigeons’ Rule. At the time of this writing I have nine published strips plus a few more lined-up to come out when their time comes. The posting-schedule to begin with will be twice a week, Wednesdays and Fridays. I’ll see how that goes before trying more ambitious plans. I feel that’s better than starting on a five-days-a-week basis and then having to back up. I don’t have an online store set up yet, either. I’ll wait to see how you like the comic, what your favourite strips and characters are, and so on, before committing any further investment. Checking whether anyone at all reads the strip will help the cause, too.

I do hope you like what you see. These are The Pigeons’ Rule first steps, and everything is just starting to fall into place, so any feedback from you readers will be very welcome, and is likely to help shape up things. Also, consider buying prints of your favourite individual strips. I have bought a few from my favourite webcomics myself in the past, and have never looked back!
