See below my sister’s dogs in real life. Please welcome Quillo, a black miniature Schnauzer, and Vito, a white (Duh!) West Highland White Terrier.

Their personality in the strips reflects their real-life counterparts’. Perhaps I’ll tell you in more detail at some point, but basically: Quillo is a quiet, dignified dog. He’s a gentleman. Vito is hyperactive and extroverted. He’s a rebel.
